The SPEAK crew is a team of people who help out at SPEAK events like Soundcheck, Vocal Training, Big Dress festivals, and other festivals that we have a presence at. This is either general help - like running stalls, helping set up and take down - or something more specific that people are particularly gifted in, such as PA, décor, hospitality or publicity.
Speak will be taking the Big Dress venue to summer festivals where there are plenty of opportunities to help with stage management and venue programming, host in the cafe, drive the team, steward, campaign, angel, and make things look beautiful.

Being a crew member involves turning up early to help prepare and receive a full briefing on what’s happening, to pray and to get to know each other. They also stay to help pack down and debrief on positive experiences and ideas for improvement for the next event. It’s a fantastic opportunity to participate in and support an amazing Network of campaigners.
Committed crew members who come to at least 3 events each year (one of these being Soundcheck, and another being a Big Dress festival) receive benefits including discounts on events the following year.
