Pray for the people of Britain in the aftermath of the general election. Pray that whoever they voted for, they will be inspired to get involved to make positive change happen at a local and global level.

Pray that Climate Change would remain a key policy issue on the agenda of UK and International politics and that people would be moved to make their lives more sustainable for the sake of the poorest people in the world who are already suffering the results of devastating climate change.

Pray for the SPEAK Campaigns Team as they go to meet the Head of DSO (the government department which exists to promote the UK arm industry) to lobby him on the disproportionate amount of support they receive from central government.

Pray for our Corporate Accountability work with CORE, that the new government would provide more opportunities to raise support for the creation of a UK Commission for Business, Human Rights and Environment.

Pray for the SPEAK Crew team as we take the Big Dress to ‘socially conscious’ festivals such as Sunrise and Secret Garden Party. The Big Dress will be a venue for people to learn more about our campaigns, chill out in the organic fair-trade cafe, listen to great music and also explore our Jesus-centred spirituality which underpins everything we do. Please pray that as a team we keep God at the centre of everything from recruiting volunteers to communicating campaigns to offering prayer ministry through the 'angels'.

Please pray for the Network Support Team as we recruit Regional Support Workers and other positions this summer. Pray that God would draw the right people to SPEAK and that we develop each others gifts and skills as a team, working for God's Kingdom of peace and justice.
