Vocal Training News!

Vocal Training is fast approaching, and plans are afoot for an exciting weekend of network-building, skill-swapping and preparing ourselves to campaign for justice in the campuses, churches and communities where we live.

Book Now for workshops exploring how you can build a relationship with your church or university, seminars on the theology of liberation, and creating an imaginative campaign, and loads more. There’ll also be plenty of opportunities to share your experience and knowledge, so if there’s an idea or activity you’d like to share, bring it along!

We want this year’s Vocal Training to be a real “Harvest Festival”, celebrating sustainability and the food that we eat. We’ll even be retrieving honey from the chaplaincy’s very own beehive. So if you have a garden, allotment, or even a window box, and have a harvest you can share, bring it along, and contribute to the feast!

On Monday 10th, we’ll be jumping on our bikes, and embarking on the latest leg of the Bardic Bike Tour – hitting the streets of York to visit sites of significance in the fight for justice. So bring your bikes, and come get involved. Even better, commit to cycle some of the way to the event, and raise some sponsorship in the process. And if you can’t get a bike to York, don’t worry – we’ll make sure you have an opportunity to take part.

Most of all, we want you! Bring all your ideas and experiences and wisdom and curiosity, and help make Vocal Training the loudest yet!
