What a weekend. We came expecting to be challenged, to discover more about unjust situations in the world around us, to be inspired by the stories of others in the SPEAK Network.
Most of all we came to claim back a real sense of hope, in a world where pessimism can so often be the response when confronted with the challenges of poverty and oppression.
With guest speakers Dr Joel Edwards, International Director for Micah Challenge, and Andy Freeman, pioneer of 24-7 prayer, Soundcheck11 was a challenging and inspiring weekend.
Live music, speakers, workshops , arts and prayer helped us to cultivate a new vision to reclaim and channel creativity into life-giving structures, and to inspire our society and our decision makers to believe in a world that reflects the love, justice and peace of God's kingdom.
